Undergraduate

Our most popular residents are Undergraduate Teesside University Students who are just beginning or continuing their studies.

We accept current Students of any age (18+) at our Middlesbrough student accommodation and we make sure all our residents feel at home at Linthorpe Hall.

When moving in, let us know your housing preferences, such as whether you want your room to be facing the lively Linthorpe Road side or one of the more quiet sides of our building, which floor you would prefer to live on, or that you are a group of student friends who want to share the same flat together.

We always endeavour to put students of the same age together in a flat of their choice, so if you are friends from different academic years of study who want to move together, please let us know prior to moving in so that we can accommodate you according to your preferences.

International Students

We have always been the ideal accommodation for international students in Middlesbrough. Our location only 200 metres from Teesside University campus, and our 24/7 CCTV camera system, provides international students with a priceless feeling of safety.

Compared to most private housing in Middlesbrough, our tenants only have to cross the main Linthorpe Road, using the pedestrian crossing next to our building and then walk about 150 metres to reach the university campus.

When it comes to food shopping, we have Tesco Express and Iceland shops within 50 metres walking distance from our main entrance.

With nearby Stockton and Middlesbrough College now offering further education courses, people travel from all around the UK and from all around the world to study here in Teesside. As long as you are over 18 and in full time education you can live with us at Linthorpe Hall.

Short Term and Summer Accommodation

Are you stuck with what do over the summer, where are you going to stay, how will you store your belongings?

Here at Linthorpe Hall 248 we accommodate students over the summer months anywhere from 2 weeks to 16 weeks.

We offer free storage for your belongings too, if you are moving in after the summer.

We also offer short-term accommodation throughout the year (such as for students on university work placements, recent graduates, young professionals, group training courses, etc.)
